Cannon beach is one of our most iconic locations. Haystack rock is just one of our amazing back drops along the coast. Honestly, choosing my favorite coast location is really hard but this spot is in the top 3.
If you’re vacationing on the coast, Cannon beach is hard to top. We love the local candy shop, Schwietert’s Cones & Candy, because the only thing better than a beach trip is ending your day with a giant scoop of ice cream.
Dinner time finds us at either Public Coast Brewing Co or Pelican Brewing. Family friendly with great brews, Public Coast has a yummy root beer and Pelican’s Famous Tower of Rings is a favorite.
We often hit up Insomnia Coffee, it’s one of our favorite local spots in Portland so grabbing a warm drink before we hit the sand is a no brainer.
If you’re visiting Cannon Beach, make sure to head up to Ecola State beach for another stunning Oregon coast location. There are several beautiful hiking spots and it’s a quick drive from Cannon beach.
