I needed that! {PERSONAL} PORTLAND LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

It’s starting to get dark at 4:15. The grey skies are more frequent and the ground is usually wet. And as fall settled in, I could feel that tinge of homesickness creeping in too. I was getting ready to run some errands when one of my BFFs texted me.

Hi friend, how are you doing?

Hey! Doing ok you?

Pretty good, You doing anything fun this weekend?

Which led to her saying she was coming up this weekend! YAY! On Saturday we hit up the Saturday market, Stumptown and then lunch at my favorite, Foster Burger. We meant to do the tram and maybe Voodoo, but nap time is in the middle of the day so we had to call it done. Here are a few of my favorites from our PDX adventures.

We specifically went to Saturday Market to pick up two new hand made clay whistles, one for me and one for Henry. Every week a different character is on sale for $5. Henry already has the snail, which I often borrowed for shoots. But sometimes I couldn’t find it when I needed it, so it was time for momma to buy her own. This week they had adorable frogs for $5.

Henry gets asked about his boots all the time, we found them at Nordstrom’s rack last year, love that place. And our favorite hippo back pack? That’s a Skip Hop product that we bought at My Precious Kid in Hillsboro. I seriously want to own all their backpacks – SO CUTE! But I won’t, because that’s a little ridiculous. 😉
