“Although I have loved all of the photo shoots my family has done with Lauren (and the resulting photos), I have particular fondness for the in-home shoot we did when my 2nd and final baby was only a week old. Lauren came to our home during a time in the pandemic when we were still very, very careful and she did such a lovely job at making us all feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed all at once.  It was a multigenerational experience including my mom and celebrating her role in our lives in such a touching way. The photoshoot motivated me to take a glorious long shower and dry my hair for the first time since giving birth but I knew that Lauren would capture our family in empowering and natural ways so I simply threw on comfy leggings and flowing clothes and minimal makeup and went for it! My husband’s family is from Eritrea and he was excited to incorporate Eritrean textiles and appreciated Lauren’s collaborative and subtle approach where she provides guidance and expertise while also perfectly blending into the background and capturing organic moments. Lauren has a unique ability to make families of all backgrounds and body types feel seen and comfortable which I truly love and appreciate. I smile every time I walk into our house and see a photo of our now complete family that she captured on that day.”

I just wanted to say thank you. The pictures are AMAZING! I love the expressions that you captured on my girls’ faces and how the colors pop! I spent a long time mulling over which ones to get thinking I just wanted one of each girl and one of all three, but I couldn’t choose because I love them all! So, I got them all 🙂 Thank you!
