A couple of weeks ago we headed out to Vernonia and made some time to take Henry’s three year old photos. We stopped at a spot close to our hearts and brought along a few family toys as well as his latest obession, Rescue Bots. It’s hard to remember our life before this guy – all the joys and struggles of being a parent have enriched our lives so much. It’s such a blessing to watch his little personality start to emerge even more and with all the mountains and valleys of last year I’m just reminded so much that each day is a gift.

We celebrated with a few friends and family this past weekend, and his camping birthday party was a true Oregon camping experience: lots of rain. Little boys don’t mind getting wet however and Henry definitely enjoyed every soaked minute of it.
