I knew when we moved to Oregon, that although I truly love capturing weddings, that during this season of my life I needed to switch my focus to solely portraiture (families, children and infants). However, I wasn’t counting on several of my favorites getting married shortly after our move up here! Last year my Mother-in-law got married and this year it was Uncle Gordy & Aunt Melissa! What a blessing it is to watch those closest to your heart find someone to share their life with.

Melissa and Gordy opted to do a first look and they were so cute. Melissa tried on a few dresses – but knew this was the one & it was perfect. Their special day was surrounded with love and support from family and friends. They had the ceremony at the beautiful historic Deepwood Estates, and the weather was amazing! Thank you both for your love and generosity – I’m so glad I was able to be a part of the start of your story together. <3
